What the estimate is built from

Home size

A 1 BHK needs a smaller vehicle and a smaller crew than a 3 BHK or a villa, so size sets the base.

Distance

A shift inside the city costs less than a city-to-city move, where fuel, tolls and driver time add up.

Floor and lift

Upper floors without a service lift need more hands and more time, so stairs add to the labour.

Packing level

Basic wrapping costs less than full packing with cartons, bubble wrap and crates for fragile items.

Date you pick

Weekends, month-ends and festival dates are the busiest, and usually cost a little more than mid-week.

What else you add

Vehicle transport, storage, unpacking and transit cover are priced separately and listed on the quote.

Reading the local band

Inside one city the price is driven almost entirely by how much there is to carry and how many hands it takes. One trip, one crew, standard packing material, lift working at both ends. That is what the table assumes.

Once the move crosses a city line

For a city-to-city shift the tool asks for approximate road distance, then adds the running cost of that distance to the base. Tolls, fuel and the hours a driver spends on the road all sit in that part of the figure.

Take a 3 BHK from Delhi to Mumbai, close to 1,400 km. The tool returns ₹25,600 to ₹50,400. That is a band to plan against, not a price we have agreed.

From band to signed quote

Once the rate is agreed the survey is free. A supervisor lists room by room what is going, flags the fragile pieces, and sends a written quote with each line priced.

A booking is confirmed with 30% of the quote, or with a ₹500 to ₹1,000 token when you want to hold a date and settle the rest later. The remaining amount is collected on delivery.

Shifting the date costs nothing if you tell us more than 24 hours ahead. Cancelling 24 to 48 hours before the slot retains roughly 5% of the advance, since the crew and the vehicle were held for you.

When the same move costs more

Saturday and Sunday slots, the month-end rush and festival weeks run 10% to 15% higher than a quiet mid-week date. Booking a few days earlier is usually the cheapest change you can make.

An office shifting job is priced differently, because downtime and after-hours access matter more than floor area.

A bike moving alongside the household is quoted as a separate leg.

How close to the final bill is this?

It is a planning band, not a bill. Most moves land inside it, and the written quote after the survey is what we hold ourselves to.

Is GST part of these figures?

No, the figures are before GST. GST is added as applicable and shown as its own line on the tax invoice.

Do I have to give a phone number to see the range?

No. The range appears as soon as you press calculate. The number is only needed if you want a supervisor to call back.

What makes two 2 BHK moves cost different amounts?

Distance, floor and lift, how much packing is needed, and the date. Two homes of the same size can be a few thousand rupees apart on those four alone.

Is transit cover included?

Transit cover is optional and priced on the value you declare. Basic damage and loss liability applies on every move.

Can I keep the goods in storage for a few weeks?

Yes. Storage is quoted per month and sits beside the shifting cost, so you can see both before deciding.
